ABN AMRO Investment Solutions announces the successful deployment of Aladdin, the leading technology platform developed by global asset manager BlackRock for portfolio and risk management activities in Europe. With the support of the Aladdin platform, AAIS will offer its clients an approach that combines a market-leading technology with high support capabilities to answer their needs.

With this implementation, ABN AMRO Investment Solutions achieved a strategic milestone and upgraded its technological infrastructure, tools, and processes.
ABN AMRO Investment Solutions has embarked on a determined strategic plan by 2026, structured around the following priorities: developing their investment and commercial offering, particularly for third-party distributors, strengthening the AAIS’ teams and focusing on innovation, technology, and data.
The optimization of its operational environment as well as in-house data management are priorities for ABN AMRO Investment Solutions, in order to have fully integrated processes which contribute to cost reduction and improved service delivery. In this context, ABN AMRO Investment Solutions selected Aladdin from BlackRock as the most comprehensive and robust solution to support its needs – including strong implementation capabilities.
A roll-out, completed on time, accelerates AAIS strategic growth plan.
“Today the ability of asset managers to offer the most effective technological tools is not only a question of operational efficiency and performance, but also of data management”. “We therefore initiated a large-scale review of our technology capabilities, and Aladdin was the obvious choice for all of our portfolio management and risk management activities. More than 150 people have contributed to this remarkable success and we are proud to have delivered it on time and as planned.”
Elisa Alonso Sanz, Chief Operating Officer of ABN AMRO Investment Solutions
“This is significant step in our development. Indeed, the combination of sub advisory and the technological set up will help us to co-create new value propositions for our clients, helping them to connect to the purpose of customers”.
François-Xavier Gennetais, Chief Executive Officer of ABN AMRO Investment Solutions.
ABN AMRO IS also outsourced its middle office activity, so the investment value chain is more quality driven and cost efficient with the latest technology available in Asset Management. This will enable the company to growth and focus on added value generator activities.
