The IPE 2019 Awards took place yesterday in Copenhagen rewarding the best pension funds in Europe. This edition attracted more than 430 entries across 43 categories, with participating investors having €2trn in assets under management. Ninety one judges were involved in assessing entries. The IPE Awards each year recognise the bar-raising achievements of the best pension funds across Europe and celebrate excellence by creating a meaningful broad set of benchmarks.
In this edition, the winner of the night was ATP who won the European Pension Fund of the Year award & Long-Term Investment Strategy award. ATP is the Denmark’s biggest pension fund and the Europe’s fourth-largest pension fund with around $120 billion of assets under management.
