The IPE 2019 Awards took place yesterday in Copenhagen rewarding the best pension funds in Europe. This edition attracted more than 430 entries across 43 categories, with participating investors having €2trn in assets under management. Ninety one judges were involved in assessing entries. The IPE Awards search for Excellence among European pension funds, highly diverse and innovative pensions industry.

The IPE Awards each year recognise the bar-raising achievements of the best pension funds across Europe and celebrate excellence by creating a meaningful broad set of benchmarks.

In this edition, the winner of the night was ATP who won the European Pension Fund of the Year award & Long-Term Investment Strategy award. ATP is the Denmark’s biggest pension fund and the Europe’s fourth-largest pension fund with around $120 billion of assets under management.
