Eurizon, the asset management company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, announces that Federica Calvetti has joined the Investment Department as Head of ESG & Strategic Activism starting 12 July 2021.

Federica Calvetti has long-standing international experience in sustainable finance issues, covering different roles in Deutsche Bank where over the years she has developed specific skills that led her to take responsibility for ESG issues for the debt market with focus on corporate clients.
She has participated in International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) working parties on Sustainability-Linked debt instruments and in the Task Force set up by the UK Oil & Gas Authority on transparency and investor reporting.
Federica Calvetti joins Eurizon strengthening the ESG & Strategic Activism team made up of professionals with consolidated knowledge of environmental, social and governance issues and who have been promoting the company’s requests and vision at an international level for years. The activities carried out by this unit are integrated with the expertise developed by the various management teams that have a specific focus on ESG investments in both equity and bond markets.
Eurizon confirms its strong commitment to sustainable and responsible investments, with 25 years of activity in the creation of dedicated products and promotion of ESG rules and conduct. Since the launch of its first ethical funds in 1996, it has expanded its range of offerings with specialised sustainability funds and integrated ESG factors into the overall investment process. Eurizon’s range of offerings, at the time of the introduction of the SFDR regulations in March 2021, included 123 Art. 8 or Art. 9 funds out of a total of 640, equating to 41% of the company’s managed fund assets.
