
Jupiter is pleased to announce the appointment of a Head of Equities and Head of Fixed Income. These roles will replace the previous positions of Chief Investment Officer and Deputy Chief Investment Officer, bringing more focused and effective investment oversight and more targeted business support to Jupiter’s range of highly active and differentiated investment capabilities.
Kiran Nandra-Koehrer will join Jupiter in the new year as Head of Equities, responsible for the leadership and management of Jupiter’s broad team of equity investment professionals. Kiran joins Jupiter from Pictet Asset Management, where she has worked for seven years, most recently as Head of Emerging Equities Management. Prior to joining Pictet she spent twelve years at Wellington Management in relationship management, investment research and product specialist functions across multiple equity strategies including US, Global, European and Emerging Markets.
An internal promotion, Matthew Morgan was appointed Head of Fixed income in October, taking on the leadership and management of Jupiter’s fixed income investment professionals. Having joined Jupiter from Blackrock in 2019 as Investment Director, Multi-Asset, he was promoted to the role of Investment Director across Jupiter’s Fixed income and Multi-Asset platform in 2021. In his new role, Matt will focus on further developing Jupiter’s wide-ranging fixed income capabilities, including Jupiter’s global flexible bond strategy, led by Ariel Bezalel, strategic absolute return bond strategy, led by Mark Nash, emerging market debt, led by Alejandro Arevalo, and global convertibles, led by Lee Manzi, across a comprehensive fixed income platform.
Both roles report directly into Matthew Beesley as CEO, and work in close partnership with the company’s distribution, stewardship, data science, trading investment risk teams.
