Natixis IM has promoted Charlene Sagoe to Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) for its International Business.

Charlene Sagoe will be responsible for driving Natixis IM’s DE&I ambitions; an important pillar of the firms CSR strategy. She will report to Tracey Flaherty, Global Head, Corporate Social Responsibility and Joseph Pinto, Head of Distribution, International and is based in London.
In her role, Charlene will execute on 5 key pillars to deliver DE&I strategy around, Gender Balance, Cultural Diversity, Education & Training, Governance and Data & Measurement. She will work closely with HR teams as well as the Head of DE&I for the US business to provide education and training so that all employees have a common understanding and vocabulary around DE&I. Charlene also Co-Chairs for Diversity In Investment with the Investor Leadership Network.
In 2021, Natixis IM launched it’s first UK Scholarship Programme as part of a global initiative (also launched in the US and France) to increase the diversity of students entering the financial services industry from underrepresented and lower socio-economic groups. This also aligns with Natixis IM’s 2024 ambitions to be a more responsible employer and create a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
Charlene joined Natixis IM in 2008 and has held several roles across marketing and communications. She was most recently International head of Digital Marketing while at the same time, taking an active lead on DE&I initiatives. She already demonstrated a passion for this important area, by championing the first DE&I employee training for 80% of the international employee base.
