Natalie Bell has been named as the manager of Liontrust's UK Smaller Companies and UK Micro Cap funds, marking a significant development within the firm's investment management team.

Bell's journey with Liontrust began in 2021 when she joined the responsible capitalism team, leading engagements with investee companies across the firm's entire range of funds. Following her appointment to the economic advantage team in August 2022, Bell has continued to demonstrate her capabilities and commitment to delivering value for investors.

Anthony Cross, the head of Liontrust's economic advantage team, expressed his confidence in Bell's abilities, describing her promotion as "richly deserved" and a "natural step" in her career progression within the organization.

Before joining Liontrust, Bell accrued over six years of experience at EY, where she was an integral part of the corporate governance team. In addition to her new role, Bell will maintain close collaboration with the other members of the economic advantage team, working alongside existing named managers and Alexander Game, who has recently joined the team.
