London-based HANetf, a leading independent white-label UCITS ETF and ETC platform, has recently listed three notable exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on SIX Swiss Exchange. The Future of Defence UCITS ETF (NATO), European Green Deal UCITS ETF (EUGD), and Sprott Uranium Miners UCITS ETF (URNM) offer investors unique opportunities to capitalize on emerging trends in defence, green technology, and nuclear power, respectively.

Future of Defence UCITS ETF (NATO)

HANetf's Future of Defence ETF (NATO) debuted on the London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Börse Xetra, and Borsa Italiana in July of the previous year. The ETF focuses on companies involved in NATO and NATO+ ally defence and cyber defence spending. With assets under management (AUM) reaching $25 million, the ETF presents an investment avenue aligned with the escalating geopolitical tensions. The defence market, poised to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% to reach $718.12 billion by 2027, underscores the relevance of NATO's strategic focus.

European Green Deal UCITS ETF (EUGD)

Launched in partnership with Societe Generale, the European Green Deal UCITS ETF (EUGD) surpassed $50 million AUM within two months of its introduction in July. Aligned with the ambitious European Green Deal, this ETF seeks to benefit from companies contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. President Ursula von der Leyen's vision for Europe's carbon neutrality by 2050 positions EUGD as a pivotal player in the transition towards a more sustainable economy.

Sprott Uranium Miners UCITS ETF (URNM)

Europe's largest uranium ETF by AUM at $245 million, the Sprott Uranium Miners UCITS ETF (URNM) was launched in 2022. This ETF provides exposure to the growth of nuclear power through investments in uranium miners, covering mining, exploration, development, and production. Notably, approximately 17% of URNM's portfolio comprises physical uranium. As countries globally prioritize decarbonizing their energy supplies, nuclear power is gaining prominence, and URNM positions itself as a key player in this resurgence.
