Biography
Benoît Harger is a Commodity Portfolio Manager at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, a position he has held since May 2022. He co-manages, together with George Cotton, the JSS Commodity – Diversified fund and the JSS Commodity Transition Enhanced strategy, a UCITS fund focused on commodities linked to the energy transition.
Previously, he spent more than five years at Barry Callebaut Group, where he first served as a Graduate Trainee in the Trading & Sourcing team (2017–2019) before becoming a Cross Commodity Derivatives Trader until April 2022.
Before joining Barry Callebaut, he gained experience as a Research Analyst at Engelhart Commodities Trading Partners in Geneva. He also completed internships as an Energy Derivatives Analyst at GDF SUEZ Trading (Engie) in Paris and as a Fund Manager Assistant at Groupe Caisse des Dépôts.
