Biography
Carlo Benetti is Market Specialist at GAM Italia in Milan, a role he has held since 2012. He has more than 30 years of experience in asset management. He was previously Head of Institutional Clients at Swiss & Global Asset Management (2003–2011) and at ING Investment Management (1998–2003). He began his career as an Institutional Portfolio Manager at Pioneer (now part of Amundi) from 1993 to 1998, where he also managed private banking portfolios. He has deep expertise in the Italian institutional and wholesale markets. He is a regular commentator on Rai Tre's Piazza Affari and writes L'Alpha e il Beta, GAM Italia's financial newsletter.
