Biography
Élise Beaufils is Deputy Head of Sustainability Research at Lombard Odier Investment Managers. She joined Lombard Odier in 2018 and leads the quantitative research, development, and dissemination of sustainability data for the Sustainable Investment Research, Strategy and Stewardship (SIRSS) team.
Before entering the financial industry, she gained experience in nuclear engineering. She studied at MINES ParisTech from 2014 to 2018 and previously worked at the Center for Industrial Economics and the Australian Astronomical Observatory.
Her area of expertise is quantitative sustainability analysis, with a focus on temperature metrics (including the proprietary ITR – Implied Temperature Rise model), the energy transition, and ESG regulation.
