Jean Maunoury
Biography
Jean Maunoury is Co-Founder and Partner at iM Global Partner, a global asset management platform he co-founded in 2013 alongside Philippe Couvrecelle.
A graduate of ESSEC Business School, Maunoury began his career in finance at the age of 22 at Natixis in Paris and London, where he spent seven years developing deep expertise in multi-management and emerging markets fund selection. He subsequently held a position at Rothschild, where he focused on international fund management with a focus on Asia and the United States.
In 2013, drawing on his analytical background and extensive due diligence expertise, Maunoury co-founded iM Global Partner with a clear strategic vision: to build a platform that operates not as a financial investor, but as a long-term business partner to best-in-class asset managers worldwide. At the firm, he is responsible for defining investment strategies and identifying and selecting partner management companies on behalf of clients globally.
Under his leadership, iM Global Partner has grown into a recognized player in the global asset management industry, with 2021 representing a landmark year of record growth for the firm. Maunoury attributes the platform's differentiated positioning to a model rooted in entrepreneurial alignment, shared values, and long-term collaboration — principles that distinguish iM Global Partner from larger competing firms in the market.
