Biography
Ulla Huotari is a Portfolio Manager for the Aktia Emerging Market Local Currency Frontier Bond strategy. She has been in the financial markets since 2000, bringing over two decades of experience in investment management, development finance, and banking. Before joining Aktia in 2021, Ulla worked at Finnfund, a Finnish development financier and impact investor, where she developed a genuine interest in frontier markets, especially while engaging with financial sector players in these countries. Prior to that, she worked in the global treasury of Kemira Plc. She has also held various positions in commercial banking. Ulla has a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration.
