The JPMorgan Investment Funds - Global Select Equity fund is a global equity fund domiciled in Luxembourg, launched in April 1981, so it is a fund with over 40 years of history.
In addition to being an article 8 fund according to the SFDR, the strategy is considered ASG promoting. In fact, at least 51% of the fund's assets are invested in companies with positive environmental and/or social characteristics that follow good governance practices, according to the manager's analysis.

Since this fund has a long history, even though the fund class examined was launched in 2018, it is possible to observe the results of the returns over longer periods of time to analyze the consistency of the strategy and long-term results.
Examining the table, it is noted that the fund has managed to beat the benchmark (MSCI World Index (TR) over periods of 3, 5 and 10 years. Therefore, the fund team has made a good selection of companies globally and has maintained its conviction over time, showing consistency in its vision and results.

Once again, it is possible to review the long-term risk metrics and evaluate the fund's risk metrics results. The same factsheet offers these metrics for 3 and 5 years.
Here it can be reiterated what has already emerged from the performance results: excellent alpha results at 3 and 5 years, which means that the team has managed to achieve better results with a similar or even lower level of risk than the market.

The positioning shows the active management of the fund and the discretion that the investment team has in the choice of instruments and, consequently, in the weighting of sectors/geographies, compared to the universe offered by the benchmark index.
These differences derive from the result of the specific analysis conducted by the team, which allows them to select the instruments in which they see real value, supported by the great global analysis capacity that characterizes the company, and let's not forget that, moreover, they apply sustainability criteria to respect the definition of fund management.
