Last week, on November 19–20, we had the pleasure of hosting the first edition of Rankia Funds Experience Francophone at the Château d’Urspelt, a fairytale castle nestled in the green hills of northern Luxembourg.
This exclusive event gathered over 60 participants and 8 asset management companies from across the financial sector — all coming together to share insights, explore trends, and strengthen relationships within the investment community.
The event began on Wednesday evening with a welcome cocktail at the Château d’Urspelt. The elegant setting provided the perfect atmosphere for participants to network and set the tone for the days ahead, combining professional discussions with genuine connections.

We were honored to open our Funds Experience with an exceptional panel discussion moderated by Laurent Chevallier, CFA, MBA, Senior Investment Manager at Edmond de Rothschild in Geneva.
Panelists Chloé Fassy de Calatchi (ABN AMRO Bank N.V.), Guy Janssens (BNP Paribas Fortis), and Jean-Baptiste Fargeau (Banque de Luxembourg Investments) shared their perspectives on key trends and challenges fund selectors will face in 2026, offering valuable insights into the future of fund selection and portfolio strategy.

The afternoon continued with our one-to-few sessions, creating a space for intimate, enriching exchanges between fund managers and investors. These conversations fostered the deep connections and mutual understanding that are the hallmark of Rankia’s Funds Experience events.
