Amiral Gestion has announced the closure of ACS Debt Fund I with 233 million euros. This is the firm's first unlisted bridge debt fund committed to the energy and climate transition. The vehicle will finance the deployment of renewable energy production assets and other infrastructures that contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions in all segments of the economy.
ACS Debt Fund I is designed to support projects and assets that accelerate decarbonization, from renewable generation to enabling infrastructures for efficiency and emission reduction. With more than two-thirds of the assets already invested, the fund presents geographical diversification in Europe and a balanced exposure to the different target asset segments.
Amiral Gestion indicates that the investment pace is in line with the management team's objectives, consolidating the capital deployment according to the fund's mandate.
The strategy is led by Benoît Forgues and Jérôme Percepied, with an average of over 15 years of experience —and more than 10 working together— in investment and financing of green infrastructures. The team is completed with Clément Huvé, Investment Manager, and has the support of Senior Advisor Christian Egal, who brings 35 years of experience in the development of energy infrastructures in France and Europe, with management positions at EDF Energies Renouvelables and, more recently, at Voltalia and Qair.
We are very satisfied with the result of this fundraising. The trust placed by the investors of this first edition reinforces our determination to continue developing our debt strategy, which offers developers a tailored solution to accelerate the deployment of their energy transition projects.
Benoît Forgues and Jérôme Percepied, fund managers
