Artemis has announced the appointment of Teun Johnston as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Johnston will officially take office at the beginning of April, while Mark Murray, current Senior Partner at Artemis, will retire at the end of June after nearly a decade at the helm of the company and a 28-year career in the industry.
Artemis is a unique organization. It has the culture and proprietary structure to attract and retain great talent, as well as the operational strength to give fund managers the support they need to excel. I am excited to continue Artemis's mission, with the aim of achieving extraordinary results for our clients, as an independent company, through a wide range of active investment strategies.
Teun Johnston as the new Chief Executive Officer
Teun Johnston brings with him a solid experience in the wealth management sector. Having joined Man GLG in 2012 as head of product strategy, he was appointed co-CEO in 2013 and took on the role of CEO in 2016. During his leadership, he expanded the offering of equity and credit strategies, introducing new teams specialized in both traditional and alternative investments.
