BNP Paribas AM has announced the launch of a set of equity and fixed income strategies within the framework of its family of active ETFs. The BNP Paribas Easy Alpha Enhanced ETF family integrates the systematic multifactorial approach to BNP Paribas AM's stock selection, with limited levels of tracking error (tracking error).
Four of them are already listed on Euronext Paris (three equity and one fixed income), and the complete family of six ETFs will be listed on Deutsche Börse Xetra next week.
The BNP Paribas Easy Alpha Enhanced ETFs offer broad exposure to the main equity and corporate debt markets in various regions (United States, Europe, global). These ETFs leverage the quantitative stock selection approach of BNP Paribas Asset Management and incorporate factors such as value, quality, trend, and low-risk focus. They systematically rank and select stocks to outperform the index in the medium term.
These new active ETFs from BNP Paribas Asset Management are classified as Article 8 funds according to the European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).
We are launching a new family of active ETFs that leverage the track record of our quantitative teams. The Alpha Enhanced family aims to offer a significantly lower tracking error than that of traditional strategies. These new products highlight our goal of expanding the ETF offering to meet the needs of our clients in Spain and Portugal.
Sol Hurtado de Mendoza, General Director of BNP Paribas AM for Spain and Portugal
We do not pursue alpha generation: we create it. Our ETF platform is based on technology and quantitative competence to offer investors innovative solutions that meet their growing needs. We believe that multifactorial investment constitutes a very effective strategy to generate alpha with reduced tracking error, making it especially suitable for offering enhanced solutions that pursue optimal risk-adjusted returns. It can be attractive both for passive investors who wish to increase their alpha generation, and for active investors looking for risk-controlled products.
