Columbia Threadneedle Investments has announced the appointment of Fanni Pfeningberger as Active ETF Business Development Manager. Based in Vienna and responsible for continental Europe, Pfeningberger will have the task of supporting the growth of the active ETF business, assisting the Sales Directors with specialist skills and contributing to the acquisition of new target customers.

Her in-depth knowledge of the investment attitudes of a diverse clientele, her consultative approach and her ability to offer a value-added service to clients in various European markets will be crucial to accelerate the growth of our active ETF offering.

Before joining Columbia Threadneedle, Fanni Pfeningberger held commercial roles at BlackRock as responsible for Institutional and Wealth Sales across Central and Eastern Europe. Throughout her career she has worked on active and passive investments, portfolio solutions, alternative investments as well as digital partnerships.
On an educational level, she boasts advanced studies in finance, technology management and innovation, and has recently obtained the CFA Certificate in Private Markets and Alternative Investments.
The appointment is part of Columbia Threadneedle's innovation journey, initiated with the launch of the CT QR (Quant Redefined) Active ETF Series, already listed on Deutsche Börse Xetra and SIX Swiss Exchange and with listing on the London Stock Exchange expected in the coming weeks.
The CT QR active equity ETF range is based on the track record developed by the group in the management of active ETFs in the United States and benefits from the scale and efficiency advantages of the proprietary quantitative research platform, in addition to the real-time insights of the Global Fundamental Research team, composed of over 124 analysts globally. The active ETFs in the range are designed to represent active core equity allocations in clients' portfolios.
