Columbia Threadneedle lists fourth active ETF in QR Series, targeting emerging markets

Columbia Threadneedle Investments has expanded its active ETF range with the listing of the CT QR Series Emerging Markets Equity Active UCITS ETF, the fourth product in its QR (Quant Redefined) Series.
The fund, listed today (3 September) on the London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Börse Xetra and SIX Swiss Exchange, gives investors exposure to emerging market equities through Columbia Threadneedle's €664 billion asset management platform.
A systematic, active approach to emerging markets
The CT "Quant Redefined" (QR) Series Emerging Markets Equity Active ETF seeks capital appreciation from emerging market equities. Built on Columbia Threadneedle's proprietary quantitative model, the strategy applies a rigorous stock selection process aimed at generating alpha in a systematic, repeatable way.

The actively managed portfolio targets a moderate tracking error of 3% to 5% against the MSCI Emerging Markets (NR USD) index, while seeking consistent outperformance over time. Stocks are assessed on three factors, quality, catalysts and value, weighted by sector-specific return drivers and combined with proprietary analysis to identify companies with the strongest long-term value creation potential.
Fourth addition to Columbia Threadneedle's active ETF range
The Emerging Markets ETF trades under the ticker QREM on the London Stock Exchange, Deutsche Börse Xetra and SIX Swiss Exchange, with a total expense ratio of 0.30% and ISIN IE000DE2VF85. It joins three other active ETFs already listed under the QR Series banner.
