Eurizon Capital strengthens its positioning in UCITS ETF management. The manager launched the YourActive SICAV platform in March, dedicated to active ETFs. Its first fund, YAS Robotics Active, actively invests in companies that develop innovative products and services in robotics and automation.
Following the launch in May 2025 of its platform of indexed ETF funds with Limited Tracking Error (YourIndex SICAV), Eurizon has progressively expanded its range with fixed income strategies and already reaches 33 sub-funds that, as of April 2026, manage more than 19,000 million euros, according to the firm.
The YourIndex SICAV platform currently adds 33 sub-funds, of which 16 are equity and 17 are fixed income, with coverage of all geographical areas and asset classes. Eurizon highlights the systematic integration of ESG criteria and alignment with Article 8 of the SFDR across the range.
Investors can opt for traditional share classes (institutional) or for listed classes (UCITS ETF), with competitive prices and the backing of a specialized team with extensive experience in index-based strategies and a dedicated capital markets structure. According to Eurizon, it is the only entity in Italy that manages all ETF-related activities in an integrated manner, from portfolio management to capital markets, which provides greater control and operational, investment and market access efficiency.
The company is among the main European players thanks to its multiclass platform YIS (YourIndex SICAV), valued by Italian and international investors for its breadth, transparency and efficiency.
The European ETF market exceeded 3 trillion dollars in assets under management in 2025 and recorded 390,000 million dollars in entries, with 621 new launches compared to 317 in 2023, which shows an acceleration of product innovation. Although passive strategies continue to dominate in absolute terms, recent growth has been strongly supported by active ETFs: their launches went from 32 to 167 in two years, raising their share from 10% to 27% of total new issues.
Product innovation is a key success factor in the asset management sector. For Eurizon, it is strategic to compete both with its indexed ETFs and with assets, which are increasingly used by institutional and private clients. ETFs are simple and profitable instruments that, when offered to retail clients, must be complemented with advisory services that identify investment solutions aligned with their needs. Indexed and active ETFs complement traditional funds and can be combined within diversified portfolios to create value efficiently through a specific asset allocation.
