The Nordic manager Evli has appointed Kaisa Paatsola as the new director of international business, in a move that seeks to strengthen its growth outside of Finland. The appointment became effective on April 27, 2026 and is part of the firm's strategy to continue expanding its presence among professional and institutional investors globally.
In her new role, Paatsola will aim to continue developing and expanding the company's international business, building on the foundation already built by the entity. Currently, Evli serves clients in more than 14 countries, while international investors already represent a quarter of the capital invested in its funds.
Paatsola has more than 20 years of experience in client management, business development and strategic leadership in the asset management and banking sectors. She joins Evli from Fidelity International, where she was in charge of the firm's business in Finland and client operations.
Throughout her career, she has also held senior management positions in entities such as Danske Capital and Handelsbanken, which strengthens her profile to lead the next phase of international development of the manager.
I am delighted to join Evli, which has done an excellent and consistent job in consolidating a strong position as a Nordic asset manager. I look forward to contributing to its continued international growth and bringing the Nordic experience in asset management to a broader global audience. Petter von Bonsdorff has done an exceptional and consistent job over the years, serving our clients in Spain together with our local partner, Selinca. With my arrival, he will be able to deepen this collaboration and accelerate our growth in Spain even more.
Kaisa Paatsola, Director of International Business at Evli
We have actively strengthened our position in international markets, and it is a pleasure to welcome Kaisa to accelerate this work even more. Her experience in one of the world's largest and most respected asset managers, as well as her work with demanding institutional clients, gives us solid capabilities to expand our international presence.
