Fidelity International has announced that it is reducing the commission (OCF) of its physical ETP on bitcoin, named Fidelity Physical Bitcoin ETP, from 0.75% to 0.35%, thus offering it at a very competitive price to the institutional and professional investors it is aimed at.

The Fidelity Physical Bitcoin ETP, which follows the evolution of the price of the world's leading cryptocurrency, was launched in February 2022 and is listed on Deutsche Börse Xetra and SIX Swiss Exchange. Its aim is to offer European institutional and professional investors a convenient and profitable way to gain exposure to Bitcoin. Fidelity Digital Assets℠ (FDAS) acts as the custodian.

quote

“The recent approval of the first Bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. has sparked interest from cryptocurrency investors around the world. This not only reflects the growing acceptance of digital assets as a whole, but also the increasing maturity of the underlying 'Distributed Ledger Technology' (DLT). In recent months we have had numerous conversations with clients who have rightly asked us for an effective way to benefit from this trend. We are confident that the new price of our Bitcoin ETP will improve the way we meet their renewed demand and offer an even greater number of institutional and professional investors access to this type of asset”.
