Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. announced on Wednesday that its private banking division, Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, has rolled out its digital platform, Fideuram Direct, in Belgium and Luxembourg. This marks an expansion of the group’s digital wealth management services into European markets considered highly developed in financial services.
According to the company, the platform combines banking, investment, and remote advisory services within a single digital solution, developed in partnership with BlackRock.
The bank highlighted Belgium and Luxembourg as strategic locations for digital wealth management, citing high income levels, strong adoption of digital financial services, and a stable institutional environment. It also noted that Intesa Sanpaolo’s existing presence in the region through its wealth management operations strengthens its market position.
Fideuram Direct operates as a fully digital platform that integrates investment products, savings solutions, and banking services with advanced analytical tools. Through its collaboration with BlackRock, it offers access to iShares ETFs along with portfolio management tools, ETF savings plans, high-yield liquidity products, and exposure to gold and commodity ETFs, among other ETF-based investment options.
Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, part of Intesa Sanpaolo, is Italy’s largest private bank and one of Europe’s leading players, managing €422.8 billion in assets. It reports consolidated net profit of €394 million, net inflows of €5.1 billion, and employs around 7,000 financial advisors and private bankers.
Intesa Sanpaolo shares rose 2.6% on Wednesday, trading at €5.682 per share.
