
Generali Investments has appointed Ole Jorgensen as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, marking a key step in its strategy to accelerate growth through the responsible adoption of AI across its global investment platform.
Jorgensen will lead the integration of AI across the firm’s multi-affiliate asset management platform, defining a unified strategy while ensuring strong risk management and governance. His role will focus on boosting productivity, collaboration, and long-term value creation.
CEO Woody Bradford said AI will “profoundly transform the investment management industry,” adding that the firm aims to strengthen investment outcomes, efficiency, and client service through enhanced AI capabilities.
Jorgensen said the goal is to create a “shared and synergistic AI approach” that enhances human capabilities and drives performance across the organization.
He brings extensive experience in AI and asset management, having spent 12 years as Head of Research at Global Evolution Asset Management, and previously holding senior roles at the World Bank and the UN PRI. He holds a PhD in international macroeconomics and has completed AI programs at MIT and Singularity University.
