Kepler partners with Talomon Capital to launch a fund linked to venture capital

Kepler Partners has launched a new vehicle on its fund platform with Talomon Capital. The KLS Talomon PE Alpha Fund, a long-term equity fund, was launched on Kepler's KLS Funds platform in February 2025. The fund has received strong demand from investors across the UK and Europe.
Talomon was founded by Jussi Nyrölä, who previously worked for 11 years at the world-class private equity firm EQT, with the philosophy that public companies controlled by top-tier private equity owners consistently outperform the markets. The Talomon PE Alpha strategy leverages this private equity alpha while providing liquidity in the public market, investing in a portfolio of up to 40 mid-cap equity securities from developed markets. The strategy has delivered an annualized return of 24.1% since January 2012.
Talomon leverages deep knowledge about private equity and the extensive sector network of both its investment team and its board of advisors, composed of experienced private equity investors. This allows the team to identify the best risk-return opportunities within publicly traded companies backed by private capital, using Talomon's patented filters to filter the investable universe and investing only alongside top-tier private equity firms.
Kepler's significant operational and distribution experience, along with the company's network and reputation in the sector, will help attract a new audience of investors to Talomon's strategy. Talomon joins Kepler's range of funds managed by top-tier managers: KLS Arete Macro Fund, KLS Athos Event Driven Fund, KLS BH-DG Systematic Trading UCITS Fund and KLS Scopia Market Neutral Equity Fund.
