At 72 years old, Klaus Kaldemorgen will leave the management of the DWS fund. Klaus Kaldemorgen leaves the management of the DWS Concept Kaldemorgen, one of the best-selling investment strategies in Europe.
By the end of the month, the current main co-manager Christoph Schmidt will assume exclusive responsibility for the DWS Concept Kaldemorgen, a flagship fund with a wealth close to 15 billion. Kaldemorgen will remain in DWS, where he will hold the role of Director of Investment Strategy.
Having joined DWS in 2008 in the team led by Kaldemorgen, Schmidt has been the deputy manager of the DWS Concept Kaldemorgen since October 2013 and since 2021 he leads the Multi Asset Total Return team.
In the fund, the deputy managers remain Henning Potstada and Thomas Graby. In addition, Schmidt is responsible for the DWS ESG Dynamic Opportunities, with a wealth of 3.7 billion euros, which he has managed since December 2012.
