Liontrust has announced the promotion of Clare Pleydell-Bouverie to Co-head of the Global Innovation team. The appointment strengthens the company's positioning in the segment of growth-oriented thematic strategies in the long term.
Clare Pleydell-Bouverie will assume the new role alongside Storm Uru, with whom she also shares the responsibility of the management of the team's three main strategies: Global Innovation, Global Technology and Global Dividend. These funds are currently distributed in key markets such as the UK, Europe and South Africa, with growing interest from institutional and retail investors.
It is a very exciting time to invest in innovation, as we are at the initial stages of multiple innovation cycles in various sectors. The rise of passive investments and the increasing concentration in mega-caps have created exceptional opportunities for those investing in the winners of the new market cycle, which is decidedly different from the previous one. Storm and I are ready to seize these opportunities and we believe that there is no better place than Liontrust to continue developing the range of Global innovation strategies."
