Malick Badjie appointed as Global Head of Sales & Marketing and member of the Executive Committee by Robeco

Robeco has announced the appointment of Malick Badjie as Global Head of Sales & Marketing and member of the Executive Committee. Badjie, who initially held the role on an interim basis, will be tasked with leading Robeco's sales strategy, overseeing sales teams in 15 countries, managing consultant relationships, and directing global marketing efforts. This move follows the departure of Alexander Preininger from the company for personal reasons.

In a move sanctioned by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and supported by Robeco's Central Works Council, Malick Badjie's ascent to Global Head of Sales & Marketing marks a significant shift in the company's leadership landscape. Badjie, who joined Robeco in 2017, previously served as Head of Institutional Sales for Europe, North America, and Africa. His promotion leverages his extensive two-decade experience in wealth management, encompassing both sales and investment aspects within the industry.

Badjie's Background and Experience
Badjie's rich professional journey includes a partnership at Silk Invest and an impactful tenure from 2003 to 2013 at BlackRock, where he held various senior positions. His academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of Warwick Business School and a degree in Political Science and International Affairs from Tennessee State University.
