At the same time, the firm announced the first close of its NB Private Equity Open Access Fund (“Open Access”), its second European long-term private equity fund structured under the ELTIF 2.0 framework, raising €110 million. Launched in June 2025, the fund was created to meet growing demand from retail investors across the European Union, offering access to private equity with a minimum investment of €10,000. Since launch, it has already committed capital to 16 transactions alongside leading managers, including investments in Nord Anglia and Mariner Wealth Advisors, building a diversified portfolio from the outset.
Neuberger also highlighted the strong progress of its partnership with LIQID, a pioneer in digital asset management in Germany, which has raised €200 million since May 2024 through ELTIF products, expanding private equity access to high-net-worth German investors.
Both the evergreen and ELTIF strategies benefit from the deal flow generated by Neuberger’s $140 billion private markets platform, which reviews around 20 direct private equity opportunities each week. These strategies invest directly in private companies alongside top-tier private equity managers, offering efficient access in terms of both fees and capital, with global reach across Europe, North America, and Asia.
Investors also benefit from Neuberger’s expertise in semi-liquid vehicles, an area in which the firm manages approximately $15.1 billion across various evergreen private markets funds worldwide.
Access to high-quality companies and managers, combined with a flexible approach, is what sets our platform apart. Since January, we have made nearly 25 new investments across our evergreen and ELTIF strategies, leveraging Neuberger’s strong GP relationships and global investment team. This momentum reflects the growing demand from both institutional and individual clients for efficient, diversified access to private markets without compromising on quality.
José Luis González Pastor, Managing Director, Private Equity Co-Investments at Neuberger
