Neuberger Berman has announced the launch of the Neuberger Berman Short Duration Income Fund. Building on the success of its established multi-asset fixed income strategies, the new strategy is designed to generate efficient income from opportunities in the short end of the yield curves. The fund will primarily invest in investment-grade debt markets.
The strategy aims to offer consistent risk-adjusted returns through active management based on the analysis of relative value among different segments of investment grade fixed income, with the flexibility to tactically allocate part of the portfolio to selected opportunities in non-investment grade debt.
The vehicle will be managed by a team of senior managers composed of Ashok Bhatia, David Brown, Michael Foster, and Matthew McGinnis, supported by Neuberger's specialized global fixed income platform and by more than 200 investment professionals worldwide.
Investors face a growing need for resilient solutions focused on income generation, capable of navigating volatile market environments. This launch reinforces our commitment to offering strategies designed to help clients achieve their income goals.
