Nordea AM announced today the launch of its first two BetaPlus active ETFs, bringing one of Europe's most successful strategies to a wider audience of investors.
Specifically, the new products launched are: Nordea ETF ICAV - BetaPlus Enhanced Global Developed Sustainable Equity Fund UCITS ETF and Nordea ETF ICAV - BetaPlus Enhanced Global Sustainable Equity Fund UCITS ETF .
BetaPlus is Nordea AM's active response to passive management, a consolidated group of optimized active strategies, with 60 billion euros in assets, that has consistently generated alpha with controlled risk for over 15 years. An ideal solution for investors in a volatile and concentrated environment like the current one.
Backed by institutional and discretionary management clients throughout Europe, these strategies are now available in a new, more flexible format, thanks to the launch of the BetaPlus active ETFs. Previously offered only through UCITS funds and mandates, the BetaPlus ETFs are presented with the same rigorous investment process and the same team with extensive experience — now in a vehicle that clients have been demanding for some time, to gain greater efficiency and liquidity.
BetaPlus goes beyond simple market exposure, combining a quantitative method for portfolio construction with comprehensive risk control and integration of sustainability criteria. These active strategies rely on the extensive experience of NAM's Multi Asset Team in multifactorial investment, making them more effective and replicable. This approach is designed to offer reliability, without surprises, making it an attractive option for investors seeking consistent alpha. The BetaPlus range includes both traditional and sustainable investment solutions.
Domiciled in Ireland and available from launch on Xetra, these ETFs will provide broader access to NAM's BetaPlus solutions. Availability on LSE and SIX are pending and are expected to be available soon.
BetaPlus is not something new — for 15 years these strategies have offered what investors value most: consistent alpha with controlled risk. With 60 billion euros invested, customer demand continues to grow due to the consistent generation of alpha and cost efficiency. Offering BetaPlus in ETF format is the logical next step, providing investors with the flexibility and liquidity they seek.
