Pablo Granell, appointed Head of European Acquisitions in Pictet AA’s direct real estate investment team

Pablo Granell Peris, currently Head of Real Estate at Pictet Alternative Advisors (Pictet AA) for Spain and Portugal, has been appointed Head of European Acquisitions in Pictet AA's direct real estate investment team, effective January 2024. Granell joined Pictet AA at the beginning of 2019 in the team led by Zsolt Kohalmi, Global Head of Real Estate and Co-Chief Executive Officer at Pictet AA.

Previously Granell was head of real estate acquisitions in Southern Europe with Oaktree Capital Management in London and was a Vice President in J.P. Morgan's Infrastructure and Real Estate Investment Banking team in EMEA. He holds a postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.

Granell will relocate to London during 2024. From London, Granell will continue to be involved in the Spanish market, extending activity across Europe with oversight of its investment strategies, including management of the direct real estate acquisitions team across the various European offices, in coordination with Geneva, home of the Swiss Pictet Group.
