Pictet AM launches a systematic investment strategy in thematic equity

Pictet AM has launched in Spain the fund Multi Solutions-Pictet Road To Megatrends 2028 II. This is the second edition of a systematic investment solution in thematic equity that allows to progressively build exposure to global equity over four years. Domiciled in Luxembourg, under UCITS regulations, with daily valuation and liquidity, denominated in EUR, it is registered in Spain and can be transferred without fiscal toll.
Multi Solutions-Pictet Road To Megatrends 2028 II is co-managed by Rafael Matamoros, Cyril Camilleri and Xavier Aumagy.
Investment approach
Initially provides high exposure to money markets and fixed income. Over four years it will quarterly reduce this exposure and increase it in global equity, until reaching 100% of the portfolio. In this way it optimizes the entry times in the markets and reduces the average volatility. The equity component will be divided into 80% thematic investments based on megatrends -with a strong focus on technology and environment- and 20% to a global investment strategy in large capitalization listed companies with a sustainability component that tries to beat the equity markets with less risk of falling.
This fund is designed to facilitate equity exposure to investors less inclined to take risks. It provides a systematic savings plan and mitigates the effect of the economic cycle. In the medium term it can generate higher returns than investments in bank deposits, money market or conventional fixed income.
