Schroders Capital has introduced its platform Generative AI Investment Analyst (GAiiA). This innovation is designed to accelerate the analysis of large volumes of data, allowing our private equity analysts to focus on more strategic activities to add value to our clients.
This tool is the result of an exhaustive process of internal testing and is supported by the technology present in the Schroders Group, which has long been actively using generative AI throughout the firm.
The Schroders Capital platform is for internal use only and leverages the technical expertise of its data analysts along with the deep investment knowledge of its Private Equity team. It constitutes an essential component of our intellectual property and reaffirms our leadership in private market investments.
From now on, Schroders' Private Equity specialists can automatically examine large volumes of data, accelerate due diligence processes and generate a significant part of the investment summaries in much less time. By assisting in the creation of investment report drafts, the platform has the potential to become a key part of the investment process.
By taking on the most arduous work of data analysis, GAiiA, which always has extensive and continuous supervision and control by humans, can help Schroders Capital's investment professionals analyze even more investments. This allows them to dedicate more time to activities that add more value such as direct interactions and strategic decision-making with planned and existing investments.
GAiiA is currently being used by Schroders Capital's Private Equity team for direct/co-investments. And it is continuously optimized with the idea of expanding its use to primary and secondary Private Equity markets in the future and to other private market asset classes within Schroders Capital when appropriate.
Schroders has made available to all employees its exclusive AI assistant for internal use called Genie. Leveraging the latest GPT models, Genie is now used by more than 1,000 employees throughout the company every day. More broadly, Schroders has already identified and is working on a considerable number of potential AI use cases throughout the company, to take advantage of the capabilities that this technology has to offer in areas as diverse as translations to help our specialists better understand customer investment behaviors and patterns.
This patented platform will elevate our investment analysis to a new level, allowing our team to make faster and even more informed investment decisions and focus on higher value-added activities. The implementation of GAiiA demonstrates our commitment to innovation and the use of technology to deliver higher quality results to our clients.
