Barcelona will host the 2026 edition of The Live from 26 to 28 October, an international gathering aimed at family offices, private investors, wealth managers and entrepreneurs, which will take place at the Hotel Miramar.
The programme is structured around four pillars: wealth, private capital, artificial intelligence and longevity, and combines keynote speeches, six thematic panels and networking spaces designed to facilitate contact between those who allocate capital and those who seek it.
The organisers have capped attendance at 200 places and reserve at least 75% for owners, managers and advisers of capital, not for providers. The first group includes single family offices and private investors, with principals, family members and chief investment officers representing wealth from 50 million dollars up to fortunes of several billion. This group is completed by multi-family offices, private banks, wealth and asset managers, and legal, tax and fiduciary advisers specialising in structuring and succession.
The remaining 25% corresponds to the ecosystem that serves high-net-worth individuals: private aviation, yachting, luxury real estate, art and security. In addition, the event reserves 100 free places for family offices. Attendees come from the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Following the arrivals day and the welcome cocktail on Monday 26, Tuesday 27 will focus on wealth, capital and innovation. The keynote session will feature Amin Ramadan, managing partner of Auzua Holding Group and a former Saudi Aramco professional, who will address where private capital will be heading in a fragmented world over the next decade. He will be followed by Tony Ihander, founder of Action Ventures, who will argue why family offices have an advantage in the current environment.
The first panel, dedicated to real assets, will bring together Dereck Hoogenkamp (Yalla Group and Amoria Stars) and Safeer Bashir, who heads the Sadaqah Garden Property Fund, a Sharia-compliant real estate initiative. The second will focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence, privacy and leadership. Andreas Pankow, co-founder of KnowSilo, who spent two decades at UBS and Stonehage Fleming, will argue that data residency does not guarantee confidentiality and make the case for sovereign, isolated AI models for the most privacy-conscious families. He will be joined by Octavius Mihaies of Torch Partners, who will address the physical infrastructure underpinning the AI economy, and by Jordi Ortiz, Foreign Direct Investment Director at ACCIÓ – Catalonia Trade & Investment. Having previously worked at Google and Secartys, Ortiz brings extensive experience across technology, international business and investment.
The afternoon will close with the multi-family office perspective, with Colleen Ferrary (Peak Fractional), who will present data on succession, leadership readiness and adviser accountability, and Danilo Lacmanovic, co-founder of the Swiss multi-family office FP Wealth Solutions. The session will be moderated by Alexander Belov. In addition, Rosser Goodman will address the topic 'From Wealth to Meaning: How Is Legacy Defined Today?'. She will explore why people give and what they hope to leave behind as their legacy; how individuals and families are redefining legacy around values, identity and mission; and the change they want their wealth to bring about during their lifetime and beyond.
The final day will open with the views of Dubai-based investor Erik L. Van Dijk. Next, Ian Sosso, founder of Monte Carlo Capital and named best European business angel by EBAN in 2019, will offer a practical guide to building seed capital portfolios, with particular attention to the J-curve and the discipline required to access the best deals.
Longevity as an asset class will take up the rest of the morning. Max Kholin (Gero), Ryan Castle (TrueYOU) and healthcare strategist Dareen Douchi will analyse ageing as an investment opportunity, the application of AI to this industry and regulated treatments, in a panel moderated by Sanja Tomovska.
In the afternoon, Shu Joshi (LSV Capital Partners) will explain how family offices can gain exposure to life sciences in Asia, and David Moscato, from the Luxembourg multi-family office Quarantia Capital Advisory, will present a model combining hospitality, longevity technology and community. The event will conclude with a gala dinner prepared by Michelin-starred chef Nandu Jubany.
THE LIVE Barcelona 2026 is held with the support of ACCIÓ (Catalonia Trade & Investment), the Government of Catalonia’s agency for business competitiveness and foreign investment. Its partners include the Hotel Miramar as official venue and Masters of Longevity as media partner, as well as the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce and the Barcelona Bitcoin Hub. The organisers have confirmed 17 speakers to date and expect to exceed twenty before the event.
The programme reflects some of the concerns currently shaping the agenda of high-net-worth individuals: the growing weight of direct investment and venture capital in their portfolios, the search for long-term themes such as longevity, and the governance and confidentiality challenges posed by the adoption of artificial intelligence.
