Tikehau Capital has announced its intention to merge its subsidiary SOFIDY, an independent leader in real estate savings and specialist in SCPI, with Tikehau Investment Management, its asset management company. The aim is to unite two complementary real estate teams to shape a more ambitious, multi-strategy, multi-geographic and diversified platform. The group's Real Assets activity reaches 13.8 billion euros in assets under management and already represents 27% of the total.
In anticipation of a recovery in the real estate market, Tikehau Capital plans to unify its platforms in several European countries and in the United States to accelerate its development and expand its international presence. The initiative seeks to strengthen the group's origination capacity and its global positioning, integrating investment functions, asset management, fund management, distribution and customer service.
SOFIDY's track record in the field of SCPI complements Tikehau Capital's value-added approach, which would allow offering a wider and more innovative range of real estate solutions to private and institutional clients. SOFIDY will maintain its brand and will continue to focus on supporting individuals through open funds, reinforcing the group's reach in the alternative asset management market, especially among private clients.
The proposed operation is structured as a merger of SOFIDY into Tikehau IM and is subject to the information and consultation process with the representative bodies of the employees of the affected entities. The group aspires to obtain their opinion before the end of the year, with the goal of completing the operation by the end of the first quarter of 2026. The project will be supervised by a specific committee that will bring together experienced real estate managers from both entities.
This proposed merger represents an important milestone in our real estate development strategy. By bringing together our complementary skills, we intend to create a differentiated platform capable of facing the challenges of a rapidly evolving market and supporting our clients in all real estate segments.
Henri Marcoux, Deputy General Director of Tikehau Capital
The aim of combining our teams and experience is to allow SOFIDY to reach a new stage of growth, while at the same time preserving our identity as a real estate investment specialist. We are confident that this operation will generate substantial value for our clients and partners.
Jérôme Grumler, member of the Executive Committee of SOFIDY
