WisdomTree has announced the launch of the WisdomTree AI Infrastructure UCITS ETF (WAGI), a new exchange-traded fund that offers diversified exposure to companies linked to the development and expansion of artificial intelligence systems by investing in essential infrastructures across the entire AI value chain.
The product is trading from today on Börse Xetra, Borsa Italiana and SIX Swiss Exchange, and is expected to start trading on the London Stock Exchange on June 11, 2026.
The WAGI seeks to replicate, before fees and expenses, the performance of the WisdomTree SemiAnalysis Artificial General Intelligence Infrastructure UCITS Index, with a total expense ratio (TER) of 0.50%. The index has been designed to track global companies that facilitate, support and drive artificial intelligence computing ecosystems, and that could potentially lay the groundwork for the development of general artificial intelligence.
To this end, WisdomTree has partnered with SemiAnalysis, an independent research firm specializing in semiconductors and AI infrastructure, responsible for the ongoing design and development of the index. The collaboration aims to identify the companies best positioned to benefit from the growth of infrastructure linked to this technology.
The index's investment universe spans seven key AI infrastructure categories: data centers, energy and industry, wafer manufacturing equipment, components and materials, semiconductors, server supply chain, networks, and cloud and neocloud giants. According to the firm, this approach aims to reflect the structural growth derived from the increase in computational intensity, the expansion of data center capacity, and the increase in capital expenditure by hyperscalers, companies, and governments.
WisdomTree frames this launch in a context where AI infrastructure is consolidating as a central component of the global economy. The growing sophistication of models and the progressive adoption of AI agents in digital workloads are driving an accelerated expansion in data centers, advanced chips, energy systems, and networks. With this new vehicle, the manager expands its thematic offering in artificial intelligence, which already includes the WisdomTree Artificial Intelligence UCITS ETF and the WisdomTree Physical AI, Humanoids and Drones UCITS ETF.
Artificial intelligence is no longer an isolated technological theme; it is increasingly integrated into the global economy. As its implementation accelerates, the demand for the underlying infrastructure that supports AI models, data processing, and digital connectivity is growing rapidly. Complementing WisdomTree's current range of AI-focused ETFs, this strategy is designed to offer investors specific exposure to companies driving the development and expansion of the artificial intelligence economy, including key companies beyond NVIDIA, such as SK Hynix, Lam Research, Lumentum, and Vertiv.
