Xuesong Zhao
Biography
Xuesong Zhao is a Fund Manager at Polar Capital, where he has been a member of the investment team since 2012. He co-manages the Polar Capital Global Technology Fund, the Polar Capital Artificial Intelligence Fund, and the Polar Capital Technology Trust, focusing on global technology companies and long-term innovation trends.
Before joining Polar Capital, Xuesong was an Investment Analyst at Aviva Investors, covering emerging markets and Asia equities. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Quantitative Analyst and Risk Manager at Pictet Asset Management, specializing in emerging market local debt, and as a Financial Engineer at Algorithmics, where he developed models for exotic FX and interest rate derivatives.
With a background spanning quantitative finance, risk management, and equity investing, Xuesong brings more than 20 years of experience in global financial markets.
