Rankia Funds Experience Europe – thank you for celebrating the V edition with us!

How Valencia’s fifth Rankia Funds Experience Europe brought together top investment professionals for three days of strategic dialogue and community.

From June 17th to 19th, Valencia once again played host to the Rankia Funds Experience Europe, this time for its milestone V edition. The event welcomed over 100 investment professionals and 16 leading asset management firms for three days of strategic dialogue, curated investment showcases, and high-quality networking at one of the city's most distinguished venues.

A landmark edition

The fifth edition of Rankia Funds Experience Europe reinforced the event's standing as one of the premier forums for professional investors on the continent. Attendees had direct access to portfolio managers and fund representatives, exploring current investment strategies, product innovation, and expert perspectives on the European asset management landscape. The one-to-few and one-to-one meeting formats continued to provide an exclusive environment for in-depth conversations around asset allocation, fund selection criteria, and performance frameworks.

Welcome cocktail: setting the tone

The event opened on the evening of Wednesday, June 17th, with a welcome cocktail that brought together participants from across Europe. The informal setting offered an ideal first opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and establish new professional relationships ahead of the programme's main sessions.

Thursday: presentations, workshops, and a taste of Valencia

Thursday's programme began with the reception of attendees, followed by the inaugural speech from José Antonio Sánchez Inchausti, Sales Director & Business Development at RankiaPro Europe, which officially launched the V edition and framed the day's agenda.

The core of the day was structured around the One-to-Few sessions – intensive, small-group meetings. These sessions gave fund selectors the opportunity to engage in focused discussions with asset managers, going beyond standard pitches to explore investment philosophies, risk frameworks, and portfolio construction in meaningful depth.

The afternoon brought one of the event's most beloved traditions: the Paella experience. A cornerstone of the Rankia Funds Experience format, this activity brought investors and asset managers together in a convivial, collaborative atmosphere – strengthening relationships away from the conference room and learning how to prepare Valencia's famous dish.

The day concluded with an exquisite dinner at Veles e Vents, located in Valencia's scenic marina, offering attendees a final opportunity to network in an elegant yet relaxed setting. The evening also marked a major highlight of the event: the 6th edition of the RankiaPro Europe Awards gala, where we proudly celebrated the industry's finest by honoring the best Fund Manager, Fund Selector, Sales Manager, and Advisor.

Friday: roundtable and one-to-one meetings

Friday's programme opened with the Fund Selectors' Round Table — a session that has become one of the event's most anticipated highlights. The roundtable brought together fund selectors from across Europe for a candid, high-level exchange on the evolving challenges and opportunities facing professional investors, from allocation frameworks and manager due diligence to macroeconomic positioning and product innovation.
