Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon, the XI Edition

Last Thursday, May 23rd, the XI Edition of Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon took place at EPIC SANA Marquês Hotel, with the aim of fostering networking among asset managers and professionals in asset management in Portugal.
Our flagship event in Portugal gathered more than 60 professionals from the industry who had the opportunity to hear firsthand the investment strategies from 8 fund management firms. Throughout the day, both managers and professionals exchanged their insights on the country's asset management industry and had the chance to firsthand learn about eight investment ideas through their respective portfolio managers.
The event kicked off with the inaugural presentation given by Alejandro Ortola, Sales Manager at RankiaPro, who welcomed all the participants and introduced the XI edition of the Rankia Funds Experience Lisbon.
After the opening conference, attendees moved on to the 'One to Few' working sessions at roundtable discussions, where they listened to investment ideas presented by various fund managers. These 'One to Few' sessions were highly productive, as in just 25 minutes per table, attendees could learn firsthand from fund managers about their investment philosophy, performance evolution, and the current composition of their funds.
During the morning, a coffee break allowed participants to recharge and exchange opinions and insights.
On the XI Edition, attendees had the opportunity to explore investment ideas presented by fund managers from the following firms: BNY Mellon Investment Management, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, Franklin Templeton, Goldman Sachs, Invesco, Lazard Asset Management, Natixis Investment Managers & Ofi Invest Asset Management.
After the eight 'One to Few' sessions held, all the participants enjoyed a networking lunch on the rooftop terrace with a wonderful view over the city of Lisbon. During the lunch, they had the chance to enjoy a delicious lunch with unparalleled views while sharing opinions and ideas among the attendees, in a more relaxed atmosphere.
Later on, the event continued with 'One to One' sessions, where selectors had the opportunity for closer interaction with fund managers through more personal and private meetings.

Emmanuel Cuche, Senior Vice President at Lazard Asset Management, presented to the audience the Lazard Convertible Global.
Philippe Berthelot, CFA, Co-Cio Fixed Income at Ostrum Asset Management part of Natixis Investment Managers, presented the Ostrum SRI Credit Short Duration.
Benjamin Louvet, Head of Commodities Management at Ofi Invest Asset Management, brought in the Ofi Invest Energy Strategic Metals.
