Tikehau Capital announced today, October 6, the expansion of its alliance with iCapital to incorporate a European private credit strategy into iCapital Marketplace, which expands the range of ELTIF 2.0 solutions available for wealth managers in eligible EMEA markets.
Thomas Friedberger, Deputy CEO of Tikehau Capital, places the move in the search for diversified income by the private investor. The operation expands a collaboration that both companies have maintained since 2022.
The strategy is domiciled in Luxembourg, denominated in euros and has an evergreen character. It primarily invests in first lien secured senior debt issued by European companies and, being structured as an ELTIF, brings the institutional experience of the manager in private credit to the wealth management channel.
The announcement adds to the recent activity of the firm's credit platform, which closed the sixth generation of its European direct lending strategy at 5.2 billion euros.
Through this expansion of our alliance with iCapital, we make our experience in European private credit more accessible to EMEA wealth managers through a more agile digital investment experience. As private wealth investors continue to seek diversified sources of income and resilience, ELTIF 2.0 structures can help expand access to institutional quality private market strategies.

iCapital Marketplace connects wealth managers, private banks, independent financial advisors and family offices with investment opportunities in private markets from a single digital access point. The platform streamlines subscription, investor onboarding, ongoing management and advisor training.
With this, it helps managers to expand their distribution capacity and wealth managers to integrate alternative investments into the portfolio more efficiently.
Private credit continues to play an important role in allocations to private markets, and wealth managers are looking for more effective ways to incorporate these strategies into their clients' portfolios. With the addition of this strategy to iCapital Marketplace, we expand the range of ELTIF 2.0 opportunities available through the platform and contribute to offering a more agile investment experience to wealth managers across EMEA.

Since 2022, iCapital's technology has facilitated the digitization of subscriptions, the onboarding of investors, and the management throughout the life cycle of Tikehau Capital's investment opportunities.
The new phase of collaboration combines Tikehau Capital's expertise in European private credit with iCapital's distribution network, digital technology, and service capabilities, in a context of increasing openness of private markets to the wealth management channel.
