The ETF industry in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) has experienced strong and sustained growth over the past decade, driven by increasing demand for transparent, low-cost investment vehicles and broader access to global markets. As institutional and retail investors continue to incorporate passive strategies into their portfolios, ETFs have become a central component of modern asset allocation across the region.
Within this rapidly expanding ecosystem, a relatively small number of asset managers dominate the market. The largest ETF issuers manage hundreds of billions of dollars in assets and offer extensive product ranges covering equities, fixed income, commodities and thematic exposures.
Trackinsight, a platform specialized in data analysis and selection of ETFs and funds, updated in January 2026 the ranking of the largest ETF issuers in the EMEA area by Asset Under Management (AUM), outlining an updated map of the main players in the sector.

In first place we find iShares, clearly ahead of the rest of the ranking: its AUM, equal to 1,358,144 million dollars, is more than triple that of Amundi, which with 424,305 million dollars occupies the second position. In third place is Xtrackers, which manages 351,170 million dollars. Following we find Vanguard with 242,754 million dollars, UBS with 184,212 million dollars, Invesco with 172,246 million dollars, and SPDR with 147,874 million dollars.
WisdomTree is the first of the ranked to fall below 100,000 million dollars in AUM, with 62,347 million dollars. The last ranked of the Top 10 are HSBC with 51,645 million dollars and J.P. Morgan Asset Management, tenth with 51,172 million dollars.
