ARK Invest has extended the mandate of Capital Strategies Partners, already active in the distribution of the company's UCITS ETFs and ELTIF in Spain, Portugal and South America, now also including Italy, Ticino, France, Belgium, Andorra and Monaco. The operation responds to the growing demand from investors in these markets for investment solutions linked to disruptive innovation.
“We are proud to extend our partnership with ARK Invest in Italy and Ticino (Switzerland). ARK's active approach to innovation, based on research, finds strong resonance among investors in the markets we serve, and we look forward to presenting to our clients in Italy and Ticino (Switzerland) the growing range of ARK's UCITS ETFs and the ARK Private Innovation ELTIF.”
Riccardo Milan, Business Partner of Capital Strategies Partners
With the expansion of the mandate, Capital Strategies Partners will support the commercial presence of ARK Invest in a new series of European squares considered strategic for the development of the company. The decision fits into a context of greater interest towards strategies focused on emerging technologies and innovative companies, both listed and private.
ARK indeed aims at a European offer dedicated to innovation and active management that includes four actively managed UCITS ETFs. These products are focused on market-leading listed companies and have a low overlap with traditional benchmark indices, with the aim of offering investors a more distinctive exposure to innovative themes.
The range is complemented by the recent launch of the ARK Private Innovation ELTIF, a vehicle focused on private companies leading in the five innovation platforms identified by ARK: artificial intelligence, robotics, multiomic technologies, blockchain technologies and energy storage.
Globally, ARK's assets under management currently stand at around 30 billion dollars. Of these, about 2.5 billion dollars refer to vehicles dedicated to private markets, while about 1.2 billion dollars are collected in Europe. The initiative is part of the broader European and international expansion of ARK Invest Europe, following the debut of active UCITS ETFs in 2024 and the surpassing, this year, of the threshold of 1 billion dollars of assets managed in the European market. According to the company, collaboration with local distribution partners like Capital Strategies Partners allows combining the research-based investment approach with a direct knowledge of individual markets as ARK enters new regions.
Our partnership now allows us to directly serve a much larger number of clients in the region, with local support on the ground and access to our research and our future-oriented products, at a time when European investors are seeking access to the most interesting public and private investment opportunities in the world in the field of technology.
