Barings announced today the appointment of Vincenzo Saccente as Head of Southern Europe of the Global Client Group, based in the manager's office in Milan.
From this position, Saccente will lead Barings' distribution strategy in Italy, Spain and Monaco, in a firm that manages 502,000 million dollars in assets as of June 30, 2026.
Vincenzo will work closely with his colleagues from the Global Client Group and Barings' investment teams to drive growth in Southern Europe, strengthening relationships with institutional clients, intermediaries and wealth management in Italy, Spain and Monaco.

Vincenzo joins from Amundi, where he held the position of Head of Alternative & Real Assets Sales, Italy, responsible for capital raising for private equity, private debt, infrastructure, real estate and liquid alternatives strategies.
Prior to Amundi, he held management positions at Lyxor Asset Management and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, where he developed experience in alternative investments, ETFs, structured solutions and institutional and wealth distribution.
