DPAM expands its range of fixed income with defined maturity and launches DPAM L Bonds EUR Chronos 2031 and DPAM L Bonds USD Chronos 2031, two funds with a Buy & Watch strategy that seek visibility, diversification and potential profitability in corporate credit.
Víctor Asensi, Country Head Spain & Latam of DPAM, presents today, September 10, these products at a time of high returns and solid business fundamentals, with August data already placing the combined assets of both funds above 357 million euros.
The Buy & Watch strategy invests in a diversified portfolio of corporate bonds that are generally held until their maturity in 2031, with continuous monitoring of the credit quality of issuers and low turnover combined with active risk management.
The portfolio brings together more than 50 issuers from different sectors and geographies, with an approximate allocation of 75% in Investment Grade bonds and 25% in High Yield, an average BBB- rating, without exposure to perpetual debt, CLOs or derivatives, under the Article 8 of the SFDR.
"Our Buy & Watch philosophy seeks to capture the attractive current level of returns without giving up strict risk control. We combine a very rigorous selection of issuers, a widely diversified portfolio and continuous monitoring of credit quality to offer a solid solution until 2031."
Thomas Giquel, Fund Manager, DPAM
The interest in the strategy has been immediate: at the end of August, DPAM L Bonds EUR Chronos 2031 already managed 266 million euros with a yield of 4.55%, while the dollar version accumulated 91 million, reflecting the strong demand for fixed income with defined maturity.
"The recent rises in IRRs once again offer investors the opportunity to access attractive returns in fixed income. These funds allow capturing these levels through a broadly diversified portfolio and with high visibility. They are an especially interesting solution for those who seek to preserve their capital and aspire to obtain a return higher than inflation within a defined investment horizon."
Víctor Asensi, Country Head Spain & Latam, DPAM
DPAM relies on a team that manages more than 2.5 billion euros in fixed income strategies at maturity, with more than a decade of experience in these types of solutions developed since 2012, within a manager that managed 50.300 billion euros at the end of 2024.
