DPAM, the public markets division of Indosuez WM's Investment Management area, has announced a series of key appointments in its management team, aligned with its commitment to strong governance and long-term growth.
A member of DPAM's Executive Committee, Yves Ceelen assumes the position of co-CEO after a 14-year career at the firm, where he held roles such as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for the Global Balanced strategy and director of institutional portfolio management. His leadership, strategic vision and deep knowledge of the sector, as well as his understanding of client needs, place him in a key position to guide DPAM in its next phase of growth.
In coordination with Peter De Coensel, Ceelen will strengthen DPAM's presence in public markets and consolidate its commitment to delivering value to clients.
With Ceelen's appointment, Johan Van Geeteruyen, until now director of fundamental equity investments, will assume the responsibilities of director of institutional portfolio management. This is a return to his roots, as he held this role between 1998 and 2021. His proven track record in managing institutional mandates for professional clients ensures a smooth transition.
To succeed Van Geeteruyen, DPAM has appointed Didier Van De Veire as director of equity investments. Van De Veire began his career at Petercam Asset Management, evolving from a buy-side analyst to managing European equity funds. Subsequently, he expanded his international experience as director for Europe of the equity department and member of the investment committee of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he led investment teams. His extensive market experience and strategic vision will be an asset to DPAM in his new responsibility at the helm of fundamental equity.
These appointments reflect the firm commitment to leadership continuity and the ambition to continue advancing in our growth trajectory in public markets. With the incorporation of Yves as co-CEO and the appointments of Johan Van Geeteruyen and Didier Van De Veire to their new positions, we are confident in our ability to deliver exceptional value to our clients and stakeholders.
Peter De Coensel, co-CEO of DPAM
It is an honor for me to assume this new position at DPAM and within the Indosuez Group. My commitment remains firm in offering significant value to our clients, while supporting our teams and partners. Together, we will continue to drive innovation and strengthen our position in public markets, based on DPAM's tradition of excellence.
Yves Ceelen, co-CEO of DPAM
