Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has announced the launch of EdR SICAV Millesima 2032, the thirteenth fixed-maturity fund in its Millesima range, created in 2008 and which has gathered nearly €5 billion in assets to date. The new fund provides exposure to high-yield corporate bonds issued by companies based in developed OECD countries, the European Economic Area or the European Union, with a maximum maturity in December 2032.
With an investment horizon running until 31 December 2032, the fund aims to capture opportunities in international fixed-income markets. The portfolio may invest up to 100% in high-yield securities and is actively managed, allowing positions to be adjusted in response to market conditions rather than relying solely on carry.
The launch comes amid a supportive monetary environment in Europe, following rate cuts by the European Central Bank in 2025 and expectations of stable interest rates and improved growth in 2026. According to the asset manager, the 2032 maturity is well suited to benefit from the current yield-curve structure and the refinancing cycle of high-yield issuers, typically concentrated in the five- to seven-year range.
The strategy relies on a highly diversified portfolio across a broad universe of European high-yield issuers, aiming to limit the impact of individual defaults. The fund is managed by Edmond de Rothschild AM’s fixed-income team and is classified as Article 8 under the SFDR, reflecting its responsible investment approach.
In an environment where return targets, combining risk-free rates and credit risk premia, remain at historically high levels, the Edmond de Rothschild SICAV Millesima 2032 seeks to capture this opportunity through its ability to invest up to 100% in high-yield bonds. This open approach is supported by rigorous issuer selection and active credit-risk monitoring, ensuring a portfolio that is well suited and aligned with the current market environment.
