MainStreet Partners has announced the winners of the ESG and Sustainability Champions 2026, the annual awards that reward excellence in sustainable management. The awards celebrate asset managers and funds that have distinguished themselves by concretely and measurably addressing environmental, social and governance challenges, with a solid and credible approach in a constantly evolving regulatory and market context.
The winners as Best Asset Manager and Best Investment Boutique of this year are respectively Nordea AM and Sycomore.

The selection was made by the fund research team of MainStreet Partners led by Sophie Meatyard, based on a consolidated proprietary methodology that evaluates funds along three pillars: ESG and Sustainability integration at the management company level, the approach of the investment strategy and the in-depth analysis of the portfolio holdings.
At the beginning of 2025 many expected a phase of regulatory framework stabilization. The reality was instead characterized by continuous evolution and increasing control at a global level. Asset managers are now called upon to demonstrate with greater clarity and transparency the solidity of their sustainability strategies.
