Federated Hermes Appoints Harry Wong as Director in Infrastructure Team

Federated Hermes Limited has announced the appointment of Harry Wong as Director in its Infrastructure team, effective July 29, 2024. Wong brings extensive experience in corporate finance, particularly in the transport, power, and utilities sectors, to his new role.
Strategic Role in Infrastructure Investments
With assets under management exceeding €2.7 billion, Federated Hermes Infrastructure is known for offering institutional investors access to high-quality direct equity investments in infrastructure across the UK, Europe, and other OECD regions. In his new position, Wong will provide strategic guidance and operational expertise across the firm's origination and execution functions, focusing on Core and Core+ investment strategies. Based in London, he will report directly to Steven Pugh, Managing Director.
A Decade of Expertise in Infrastructure Finance
Wong's appointment is bolstered by over a decade of experience in corporate finance within the infrastructure sector. Prior to joining Federated Hermes, he was at RBC Capital Markets, where he advised both private and public sector clients on the development, ownership, and operation of essential transport infrastructure. His previous roles include Director at UBS and consultant at KPMG, where he specialized in corporate finance infrastructure. Wong's extensive background is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing Federated Hermes Infrastructure’s investment capabilities and delivering value to its institutional clients.
