Flexstone Partners Appoints Samira Boussem as CEO to Drive Sustainability Strategy

Flexstone Partners, an affiliate manager of Natixis Investment Managers overseeing assets exceeding $10 billion, has announced the appointment of Samira Boussem as Chief Executive Officer and Head of Sustainability. Based in France, Boussem will report to Eric Deram, Managing Partner of Flexstone Partners, leading the ESG team and driving the firm's sustainability strategy in private equity markets across the US, Europe, and Asia.

In her new role, Boussem will spearhead Flexstone's sustainability strategy and responsible investment approach. She will focus on developing the internal ESG investment framework, management strategy, and product offerings. The goal is to address key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues within private markets, aligning with the diverse investment solutions the firm offers its clients.

Boussem joins Flexstone from her position as ESG Director at Natixis Investment Managers Solutions, where she led ESG-related matters and was part of the sustainable working group. Her career includes roles at Natixis Investment Managers, Credit Industriel et Commercial (CIC), and consultancy at Natixis Investment Managers' Portfolio Consulting Group. Boussem holds a Master's degree in Probability and Finance from the University of Paris 6 (DEA El Karoui), is a CFA charterholder, and has received the CFA ESG Investments certification.
